Here’s a delicious recipe for a seafood pizza, perfect for seafood lovers! 🦐🍕


Ingredients (for 1 large pizza):

  • 1 pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • 150 g of tomato sauce (puree or passata)
  • 200 g of mixed seafood (mussels, shrimp, calamari, etc.)
  • 100 g of shredded mozzarella (or your cheese of choice)
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • A pinch of Espelette pepper (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • A few black olives (optional)
  • Lemon juice (optional, for serving)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F). Place a baking tray or pizza stone inside to heat up.
  2. Prepare the seafood:
    • If using frozen seafood, thaw and drain it well.
    • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and lightly sauté.
    • Add the seafood, season with salt, pepper, and Espelette pepper. Sauté for 2-3 minutes (it will finish cooking in the oven). Set aside.
  3. Assemble the pizza:
    • Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.
    • Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough.
    • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella on top.
    • Distribute the sautéed seafood evenly over the pizza.
    • Add a few black olives, if desired.
  4. Bake:
    • Transfer the pizza onto the preheated baking tray or stone. Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
  5. Finishing touches:
    • Once out of the oven, sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley.
    • Drizzle with a bit of lemon juice for a zesty kick, if desired.
