How to make cookies?
To make delicious cookies, here’s a simple recipe to follow:
Ingredients:
- 250 g of flour
- 125 g of softened butter
- 100 g of sugar
- 100 g of brown sugar (brown sugar)
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 200 g of chocolate chips (or other ingredients like nuts, dried fruits, etc.)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven: Start by preheating your oven to 180°C (350°F) and lining a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix butter and sugars: In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with the sugar and brown sugar until the mixture is creamy and smooth.
- Add the egg and vanilla: Incorporate the egg and vanilla extract into the butter-sugar mixture. Mix well until smooth.
- Add dry ingredients: In another bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until the dough is well combined.
- Add chocolate chips: Stir in the chocolate chips (or other toppings) using a spatula or wooden spoon.
- Shape the cookies: Using spoons, drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them out as they will spread during baking. You can slightly flatten them if you want thinner cookies.
- Baking: Bake the cookies in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes, until the edges are golden brown but the centers are still slightly soft. Do not overbake them so they stay soft.
- Cooling: Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
